TREATMENT POLICIES & TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking an appointment with KD. Permanent Makeup Artist, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following policies and terms.

BOOKING FEE & PAYMENT

A £150 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all new treatment appointments. Clients may also choose to pay for their treatment in full at the time of booking.

The booking fee forms part of the total treatment price and will be deducted from the remaining balance due on the day of your appointment.

Your appointment is not confirmed until the required booking fee or full payment has been received.

Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another client.

Any outstanding treatment balance must be paid in full on the day of your appointment. Cash and major credit/debit cards are accepted.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. As clinic space, travel and professional time are arranged around confirmed appointments, sufficient notice is required for any changes.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, a minimum of 7 days' notice must be provided.

One reschedule is permitted where the required notice has been given. If the same appointment is cancelled or rescheduled more than once, the original booking fee will be forfeited and a new booking fee may be required to secure another appointment.

Booking fees cannot be transferred to another person.

SAME-DAY CANCELLATIONS

Appointments cancelled on the day of the scheduled treatment will incur a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the full treatment price.

Your existing booking fee will be credited towards this charge, and any remaining balance of the 50% cancellation fee will become payable.

For £100 Touch-Up appointments, the full £100 treatment fee will be charged in the event of a same-day cancellation. The 50% cancellation rule does not apply to these appointments.

This charge is necessary because clinic room rental, travel arrangements and professional time have already been committed to your appointment. A same-day cancellation also leaves insufficient time to offer the reserved appointment to another client.

By booking your appointment and accepting these Terms & Conditions, you authorise KD. Permanent Makeup Artist to charge the card or payment method held on file for any applicable cancellation fee, where permitted by the payment provider.

If the cancellation fee cannot be collected from the payment method on file, any outstanding amount must be settled before another appointment can be booked.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur; however, these policies are necessary to protect the time and costs associated with running an appointment-based business and are applied consistently to all clients.

LATE & MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive approximately 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time to complete any required paperwork and settle in before your treatment.

If you expect to be late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being treated as a missed appointment if there is no longer sufficient time to safely complete the treatment without affecting subsequent appointments.

If your appointment is missed or cannot proceed due to late arrival, your booking fee will be forfeited.

A new booking fee will be required before another appointment can be secured. Repeated missed appointments may result in additional cancellation charges and/or KD. Permanent Makeup Artist declining future appointment requests.

BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOGRAPHS

Photographs may be taken before and after your treatment for client records, treatment assessment and insurance purposes.

Before photographs are particularly important when assessing healed results at your perfecting/touch-up appointment.

With your consent, photographs may also be used for our portfolio, website, social media and marketing purposes. We respect our clients' privacy and, wherever appropriate, images may be cropped or edited to focus on the treated area.

You may decline the use of your photographs for social media and marketing purposes. This will not affect your treatment.

RESULTS & HEALING

Permanent makeup results vary from person to person and specific healed results cannot be guaranteed.

Your final shape will be discussed and agreed with you before the treatment begins. Treatment will not proceed until you have approved the proposed shape.

Skin type, lifestyle, age, medications, previous permanent makeup, aftercare, sun exposure and individual healing responses can all influence pigment retention and the final healed result.

Following the aftercare instructions provided is essential; however, KD. Permanent Makeup Artist cannot control an individual's healing process or guarantee the amount of pigment that will be retained.

On average, two sessions may be required to achieve the intended result. Some clients may require additional sessions depending on their skin, healing and desired intensity. Any additional sessions outside the treatment package or specified touch-up period will be charged according to the current price list.

TOUCH-UPS & FUTURE APPOINTMENTS

It is the client's responsibility to book all required touch-ups and future appointments within the timeframes specified by KD. Permanent Makeup Artist.

Touch-up pricing is based on the amount of time that has passed since your previous treatment/session. If you book outside the recommended timeframe, the appointment may fall into a different pricing category.

Appointment availability cannot be guaranteed simply because a client is approaching the end of their touch-up period. We therefore strongly recommend booking your follow-up appointment in advance.

PREVIOUS PERMANENT MAKEUP

If you have previously had permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing or microblading on the area you would like treated, you must disclose this before booking.

Please send clear, recent photographs of the area to kristinedicapmu@gmail.com or via Instagram @kd.pmuartistbefore making your appointment.

Previous work must be assessed and approved before a treatment can be accepted.

In cases where previous pigment is too dark, dense, discoloured, saturated, uneven or extends beyond the desired shape, removal or lightening may be recommended before new permanent makeup can be performed.

Cover-ups and corrections are assessed individually, and results cannot be guaranteed.

Failure to disclose previous permanent makeup before booking may result in the treatment being unable to proceed and the booking fee being forfeited.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE TREATMENT

KD. Permanent Makeup Artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it would be unsafe, inappropriate or unreasonable to proceed.

This includes, but is not limited to, clients who appear intoxicated, display abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour, fail to disclose relevant information, have a contraindication to treatment, or where their health or skin condition may negatively affect the safety or outcome of the procedure.

Your safety and the safe practice of permanent makeup will always take priority.

PRICING

All treatment prices are non-negotiable.

Prices may be updated periodically to reflect changes in products, training, clinic costs and other business expenses.

Where an appointment has already been confirmed and the required booking fee has been paid, the price applicable at the time of booking will normally be honoured for that appointment.

Future appointments, including touch-ups and annual refreshes, will be charged according to the applicable price and treatment category at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

AGE, CHILDREN & GUESTS

Permanent makeup treatments are available to clients aged 18 and over only.

For health, safety and insurance reasons, children are not permitted within the treatment area and should not be brought to your appointment.

Due to the detailed and highly focused nature of permanent makeup treatments, we also operate a no-guest policy unless this has been agreed with us in advance.

If you arrive with a child or guest and suitable alternative arrangements cannot be made, your appointment may be unable to proceed. Where this results in a same-day cancellation, the applicable cancellation policy will apply.

AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS

By paying your booking fee and confirming an appointment with KD. Permanent Makeup Artist, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Treatment Policies & Terms & Conditions.

These policies are in place to ensure that appointments are managed fairly and consistently while protecting the time, clinic costs and professional commitments associated with each reserved treatment.
